As a photographer, Buckey has traveled
around the world with clients on hunting
safaris,
making
16mm films of every trip. He has
visited Africa thirteen times, Nepal twice,
and once to Iran, Pakistan, Turkey and
Siberia.
Buckey's home provides a visitor the
fascinating experience of 42 years of a
photographer's life. The walls of
Buckey's home are adorned with hundreds of
photos he has taken over the span of a
lifetime, each a captivating story of
intrigue.
On his walls are the memories of his career
as a guide, the exciting hunts he has lead,
the close calls he has seen, the wonders of
nature he has experienced, and more than
anything, beautiful wildlife photos from
around the world. To put it lightly,
Buckey's home is a museum full of photos,
walls of guns of all makes and models
(totaling more than 200), hundreds of powder
flasks, a giant collection of bullets and
casings from the antique to modern day, and
much more for the eye of the visitor.

teller along with the history behind each
photo and every display.
